Breathe on us, O Lord, and in us. Breathe love. Breathe hope. Breathe courage into us who walk slowly through the shadows. Breathe joy into us who calibrate our existence by disappointment. Breathe wisdom into us who love the small confines of our opinion. Breathe peace into us who nourish a place of anger in our souls. Breathe healing into our secret wounds. Breathe life into us so that these dry bones can rise to tell the story of your grace and spread beauty in this world of ashes.
Breathe on us, breath of God.
